Ancient Wisdom & Integrative Tools for Fear, Sorrow, & Uncertainty

With Francis Weller, MFT and Menpa Phuntsog Wangmo

This week we welcome the celebrated psychotherapist, writer, and soul activist, Francis Weller, MFT. Francis’ work synthesizes diverse streams of thought and culture into a unique and dynamic style he calls soul-centered psychotherapy. This innovative work draws from psychology, mythology, indigenous cultures, poetry, alchemy, and more.
We will discuss Mr. Weller’s work in the context of human health and wellness today. What can we learn from the ancient wisdom heritage of human cultures to help us deal with fear, sorrow, loss, and uncertainty? What integrative tools can we use to experience ancient wisdom and explore our “soul-work”? Specifically, how can we apply these tools to help us cope with the challenges of the current COVID-19 pandemic? Our host, Menpa Phuntsog Wangmo, offers her insight into these questions, from the perspective of traditional Tibetan Medicine.
